Planning Engineer

We are looking for a Planning Engineer with 5+ years of experience in construction project planning and execution. The ideal candidate should have prior experience as an Execution Engineer and be capable of preparing project schedules, monitoring progress, coordinating with site teams, and ensuring timely project delivery across residential, commercial, institutional, or hospitality projects.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare project schedules, work plans, and timelines.
  
• Develop Macro & Micro Level Project Schedules with manpower planning.
  
• Prepare Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and define activity dependencies.
  
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedules and milestones.
  
• Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Progress Reports.
  
• Conduct site visits to review project progress and identify schedule deviations.
  
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and consultants.
  
• Review technical drawings and prepare Material Procurement Plans, Labour Plans, and Contractor Deployment Plans.
  
• Assist in contract preparation with the Quantity Surveying team.
  
• Prepare Project Review Reports, Cash Flow Reports, and Critical Task Lists.
  
• Identify project delays, analyze risks, and recommend corrective actions.
  
• Ensure effective coordination between planning and execution teams.
  

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Construction Planning & Project Scheduling.
  
• Experience in Residential, Commercial, Institutional, or Hospitality projects.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project (MS Project), Advanced Excel, and Construction ERP.
  
• Good understanding of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Resource Planning, and Project Monitoring.
  
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
