Job Role: Planning Engineer

Location: Liberia, West Africa

Experience: 3-4 Years

Employment Type: Contract for 1 Year

Project: Iron Ore Concentrator Plant

Roles & responsibilities :

• Prepare, develop, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare baseline schedules, detailed execution schedules, look-ahead schedules, and recovery schedules.
• Monitor project progress against planned targets and milestones.
• Track progress of steel structure erection, piping fabrication/erection, and related construction activities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Monitor critical path and identify delays, slippages, and schedule risks.
• Analyze planned vs. actual progress and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare recovery and mitigation plans for delayed activities.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Project Management teams.
• Monitor manpower, material, and equipment requirements against project plans.

Preferred candidate profile:

• 3-4 years of relevant experience in Project Planning & Scheduling.
• Experience in EPC / Industrial Plant / Mining / Construction Projects will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of critical path, schedule monitoring, and delay analysis.
• Willingness to work in Liberia, West Africa for the project duration.

Educational Qualification:

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or relevant Engineering discipline.

Preference: Experience in Steel Structure & Piping Projects
