Role Overview

Position: Planning Engineer

Experience Required: 4 to 7 Years (In Residential Projects)

Job Location: Split between Site Operations and Head Office (HO) Coordination

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Education: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering

What You Will Do

Project Scheduling & Tracking

Create, manage, and update baseline project schedules using MSP (Microsoft Project) or Primavera.

Establish realistic milestones for structural (RCC), finishing, and MEP works specifically geared toward high-rise residential layouts.

Site & Head Office Liaison

Spend time on the site to audit physical progress against planned schedules.

Synthesize raw site data into clear, actionable progress reports (MIS, Daily/Weekly/Monthly Progress Reports) for Head Office management review.

Material & Resource Optimization

Forecast material requirements (cement, steel, finishing goods) based on drawings to prevent site stockouts or over-ordering.

Track and report on labor productivity, working closely with the project management team to optimize site manpower.

Cost Control & Budgeting

Assist in tracking project expenditures against the sanctioned budget.

Highlight early warning signs regarding potential budget overruns or delays to the HO team.

What We Are Looking For

Core Experience: You must have 4 to 7 years of solid civil engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on high-rise residential towers.

Technical Software: Hands-on proficiency in MSP (Microsoft Project) or Primavera, along with excellent MS Excel skills.

High-Rise Know-How: A deep understanding of cycle times for RCC structural work (mivan/shuttering), finishing sequences, and high-rise material movement constraints.

Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are vital; you will negotiate deadlines with site teams and present data transparently to leadership at the Head Office.
