Planning & Contracts Engineer For Nagpur Metro Project

Key Responsibilities

• Manage client, internal, and external correspondence, including letters, notices, and official communications.
• Draft, review, track, and maintain correspondence records, ensuring timely responses and compliance with contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, consultants, and other stakeholders for day-to-day communication and follow-ups.
• Support project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and project controls activities.
• Assist in preparing progress reports, monitoring project milestones, and identifying schedule deviations.
• Maintain proper documentation and correspondence registers for records, reporting, and audit purposes.
• Ensure timely submission of contractual communications and adherence to project timelines and procedures.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in Planning, Contracts, and Project Controls, preferably in Highway/EPC projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with expertise in drafting professional letters and contractual correspondence.
• Good understanding of project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and contractual documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Word; knowledge of MS Project or Primavera P6 will be an advantage.
• Strong coordination, documentation, analytical, and follow-up skills.
