Placement Officer at Bangalore, GIET University, Gunupur

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate recruiters, HR professionals, and industry partners.
• Plan, organize, and execute campus and virtual recruitment drives, job fairs, and interviews.
• Identify and generate placement, internship, and live project opportunities for students.
• Coordinate with academic departments to align student competencies with current industry requirements.
• Maintain accurate placement data, employer feedback, and ensure smooth communication with all stakeholders.
• Achieve placement targets through proactive corporate outreach and engagement activities

Preferred candidate profile

• 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in Marketing and Campus Placements, preferably in an academic or training institution.
• Strong corporate network with IT recruiters and HR professionals across multiple industries in Bangalore and Periphery.
• Should have record of minimum 20 placemnts in last academic session .
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and working knowledge of Hindi and/or Kannada.
• Willingness to undertake extensive local travel for corporate engagement.
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
