Placement Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end student placement activities for IT and Cyber Security programs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with companies, recruiters, and corporate partners.
• Identify and generate new placement opportunities for students.
• Coordinate with companies for job openings, interviews, and placement drives.
• Match student profiles with suitable IT and Cyber Security job opportunities.
• Organize campus recruitment drives, interviews, and employer interactions.
• Coordinate with students throughout the recruitment and placement process.
• Maintain placement records, employer databases, and recruitment reports.
• Understand current industry requirements and employer expectations.
• Achieve placement targets and ensure successful student placements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate/Postgraduate from an IT, Computer Science, or related background.
• Must have good knowledge of Cyber Security.
• Knowledge of BSI (British Standards Institution) will be preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in Placement, Corporate Relations, or IT-related roles preferred.
• Strong communication, networking, and relationship-management skills.
• Good understanding of IT industry requirements and recruitment processes.
• Ability to coordinate with students, companies, and recruiters effectively.
• Target-oriented and capable of achieving placement goals.
