We are looking for an experienced Placement & Industry Relations Manager who can take ownership of student placements and build strong relationships with software companies for fresher recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrange and coordinate interviews for our trained students with software companies in Kolkata.
• Identify relevant fresher job opportunities through job portals, LinkedIn, company websites, online communities, and other sources.
• Actively follow up with our network of 200+ software companies to identify current and upcoming hiring requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with HR teams, recruiters, hiring managers, and company representatives.
• Connect with companies regularly through phone calls, email, and other communication channels to generate placement opportunities.
• Visit companies directly whenever required to develop relationships and explore recruitment opportunities.
• Develop new corporate relationships and establish recruitment tie-ups with larger software companies.
• Understand the hiring requirements of companies and coordinate suitable student profiles accordingly.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with companies regarding interview schedules, candidate feedback and selection status.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in placement, recruitment, corporate relations, or a similar role, preferably within the software/IT industry.
• Strong understanding of the Kolkata software/IT recruitment market.
• Existing relationships with software companies and HR/recruitment professionals will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable making frequent outbound calls and following up with companies.
• Willingness to meet company representatives and visit companies when required.
• Ability to independently identify opportunities and convert them into interview/placement opportunities.
• Strong follow-up, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Candidates with experience in IT recruitment, campus recruitment, training & placement, staffing or corporate tie-ups are encouraged to apply.
