NIGHT SHIFT :REMOTE ROLE

• 10-15+ years of experience in Oracle database development and architecture.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle PL/SQL.
• Excellent knowledge of:
• Stored Procedures
• Functions
• Packages
• Triggers
• Cursors
• Collections
• Dynamic SQL
• Bulk processing
• Exception handling
• Strong expertise in SQL performance tuning and optimization.
• Deep understanding of Oracle database architecture and internals.
• Experience with execution plans, indexing, partitioning, materialized views, and query optimization.
• Strong database design and data modeling skills.
• Experience with large-volume transactional databases.
• Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, or similar technologies is desirable.
• Knowledge of database security, access control, encryption, and auditing.
• Experience working with REST APIs, Java/.NET applications, middleware, or enterprise integration platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments.

Performance & Optimization Expertise

The candidate should be capable of independently handling:

• Complex SQL optimization
• PL/SQL performance tuning
• Explain Plan / execution-plan analysis
• AWR and ASH analysis
• Index strategy
• Table and index partitioning
• Bulk collect / FORALL optimization
• High-volume data processing
• Deadlock and locking issues
• Memory and resource optimization
• Database concurrency and transaction management

• Oracle 19c / 21c / 23ai experience
• Oracle RAC / Data Guard
• GoldenGate / replication technologies
• Oracle Exadata
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• AWS/Azure database services
• Database migration and modernization
• Microservices and enterprise application architecture
• ETL/data integration technologies
• Python or Shell scripting
• CI/CD for database deployments
• Liquibase, Flyway, or similar database deployment tools

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
