Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and update valve datasheets, valve lists, equipment lists, and piping engineering documents.
• Review valve and special-item technical documents received from vendors.
• Review vendor datasheets, GA drawings, material details, pressure ratings, testing requirements, and deviations.
• Support technical evaluation of valves and special piping items.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal disciplines to resolve technical comments and queries.
• Support preparation/review of MR, TBE and purchase specifications.
• Ensure documents comply with project specifications, P&IDs, PMS, and applicable codes and standards.

Required Experience & Skills

• Good knowledge of piping engineering and valve selection/specification.
• Familiarity with ASME, API, MSS, ASTM and ISO standards related to piping and valves.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, PFDs, line lists, equipment datasheets and PMS.
• Experience with vendor document review and technical coordination.
• Good understanding of valve materials, pressure classes, trims, end connections, testing, packing, and gasket requirements.
• Knowledge of PMS and material selection will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and drafting.
