Role & Responsibilities

• Teach Physical Science as per the CBSE curriculum and prescribed syllabus.
• Explain Physics and Chemistry concepts through clear, concept-based teaching methods.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment materials.
• Conduct practical demonstrations and laboratory activities to improve scientific understanding.
• Develop students' analytical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific reasoning skills.
• Conduct regular tests, revision sessions, and examinations to assess student progress.
• Prepare students for CBSE examinations through practice questions and exam-oriented guidance.
• Provide individual attention and remedial support to students who need improvement.
• Maintain academic records and communicate student progress to parents.
• Participate in school activities, departmental meetings, and professional development programmes.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, or a relevant Physical Science discipline.
• B.Ed. qualification as applicable to the teaching position and CBSE requirements.
• Previous teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom teaching skills.
• Ability to explain scientific concepts through practical examples and experiments.
• Familiarity with the CBSE syllabus, assessment methods, and competency-based learning.
• Good communication, classroom management, and student mentoring skills.
• Ability to use digital teaching tools and interactive learning methods.
