Position: Physical design Engineer
Experience: 6-9 Years

Location: Bangalore

Contarct:12 Months

Role & responsibilities

• Drive physical design flows in collaboration with customers, SoC architects, CAD teams, and design teams.
• Implement end-to-end RTL-to-GDSII physical design flows.
• Perform floorplanning, power planning, synthesis, placement, clock tree synthesis (CTS), optimization, routing, and timing closure.
• Conduct static timing analysis (STA), parasitic extraction, crosstalk analysis, EM/IR analysis, and physical verification (DRC/LVS).
• Perform full-chip floorplanning, bus and pin planning, feed-through planning, and physical design signoff.
• Support formal equivalence checks, design optimization, and power, performance, and area (PPA) improvements.
• Develop and automate physical design flows using scripting languages.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive design methodology improvements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams to ensure successful project delivery.
