Physical and Health Education Teacher - Swimming

MYP Physical and Health Education Teacher (Profile: Swimming) from January 2027 or soon thereafter

The successful candidate will work with members of the PHE department, offer swimming both as part of the MYP Physical and Health Education lessons and after school, and help with enhancing and implementing the Academy’s physical education programme to promote physical fitness, competitiveness, teamwork and healthy lifestyles.

The successful candidate will have extensive previous experience teaching and coaching students in swimming. Experience with assessment and tracking students’ progress is an advantage.

Required:

• Extensive experience and expertise with teaching Swimming and related safety aspects.
• A recognised degree in teaching Sports (swimming) from a reputable university.
• Experience of working successfully in a multicultural environment.
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.

Preferred:

• Proven experience with the IB Middles Years Programme.
