PHP Developer

Job Overview Cyboard School is seeking a skilled Software Developer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance web-based applications and internal software solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PHP development, database management, front-end technologies, and debugging. The role involves building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications that support the organization's operational and educational needs. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications and software solutions.
• Develop and enhance applications using Core PHP and CodeIgniter.
• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Design, manage, and optimize MySQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs and performance issues.
• Develop and maintain real-time functionalities using WebSockets.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external systems as required.
• Ensure application security, scalability, and high availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Core PHP.
• Hands-on experience with the CodeIgniter Framework.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL database design, query optimization, and database management.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with WebSockets for real-time application development.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in software or web application development.
• Experience developing enterprise applications, ERP systems, EdTech platforms, or similar web-based solutions is preferred.
