About the Role We are looking for a skilled and motivated

Senior PHP Developer with deep expertise in the

Laravel framework to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable web applications and robust RESTful APIs. You will have a strong voice in our architecture, leveraging modern design patterns to write clean, testable, and maintainable code while ensuring our database layers are performing at their absolute peak. Key Responsibilities

• Application Architecture: Design and develop high-performance web applications using Laravel (Versions 9, 10, or 11).
• API Development & Security: Build scalable RESTful APIs and secure them using industry standards (JWT, OAuth, and strict rate-limiting protocols).
• Database Optimization: Write complex SQL queries, optimize database schemas, and ensure high availability/performance on MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Code Quality: Implement clean code architectures using design patterns like Repository, Factory, and Service Layer patterns.
• Asynchronous Processing: Optimize application performance using Laravel Queues, Jobs, and Caching mechanisms. What We Are Looking For (Required Skills)Technical Expertise:
• Experience: 4–5 years of professional backend development experience with PHP.
• Laravel Mastery: Deep understanding of Laravel core concepts including Routing, Middleware, Eloquent ORM, Queues, and Caching.
• Design Patterns: Proven experience structuring applications using the

Repository Pattern ,

Factory Pattern , and a dedicated

Service Layer .

• Database Management: Strong knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL database design, query optimization, and complex joins.
• Security & Auth: Solid grasp of Laravel's native authentication/authorization systems, alongside API validation, JWT, and OAuth.
• Tools: Proficiency with Git and standard GitHub workflows (pull requests, code reviews, branching strategies). Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to architectural detail.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
