Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer with strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in PHP frameworks, database management, REST APIs, and modern web development practices. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP.
• Design and implement reusable, efficient, and secure code.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, business analysts, and QA teams.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding best practices.
• Work with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in PHP 7/8 development.
• Expertise in PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB databases.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.
• Hands-on experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub/GitLab version control systems.
• Understanding of MVC architecture and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Experience with application security, authentication, and authorization.

Good to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with Redis, Elasticsearch, or caching technologies.
• Understanding of Microservices architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant experience in PHP application development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
