Phlebotomist

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood samples using venipuncture, finger prick, or heel prick methods
• Ensure proper patient identification before sample collection
• Label and store specimens accurately and maintain records
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area
• Handle and dispose of bio-medical waste as per regulations
• Provide comfort and reassurance to patients during procedures
• Coordinate with lab staff for timely processing of samples
• Maintain inventory of collection supplies (needles, tubes, etc.)
• Travel for home sample collection if required

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma / Certification in Phlebotomy or Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)
• Minimum 24 years of experience
