Phlebotomist/ Sample Collection person

Role & responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from patients through venipuncture and other approved collection methods.
• Ensure proper labelling, handling, storage, and timely transportation of blood and other diagnostic samples.
• Follow laboratory safety, hygiene, and infection-control protocols during sample collection.
• Interact with patients professionally, explain the collection procedure, and ensure patient comfort.
• Maintain accurate records of collected samples and coordinate with laboratory staff for smooth operations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Any Graduate with relevant phlebotomy training or certification.
• DMLT / BMLT / B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology preferred.
• Candidates with practical experience in blood collection and sample handling will be preferred.
• Freshers with relevant training or certification may also apply.
