Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and responsible Pharmacist to join our team in Vijayawada. The candidate will be responsible for dispensing medicines, maintaining pharmacy inventory, ensuring proper storage of medicines, and providing accurate information to patients regarding medication usage.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and non-prescription medicines accurately.
• Verify prescriptions and ensure correct dosage, quantity, and instructions.
• Counsel patients on proper medication usage, dosage, and precautions.
• Maintain accurate records of medicines dispensed and stock movements.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment of medicines.
• Check medicine expiry dates and ensure proper storage conditions.
• Follow all applicable pharmacy and healthcare regulations.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals when required.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance standards in the pharmacy.
• Handle billing and pharmacy-related documentation, if applicable.
• Report damaged, expired, or shortage of medicines to the concerned supervisor.

Candidate Requirements

• D.Pharm / B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
• Valid pharmacist registration/license as applicable.
• 0–5 years of relevant experience; freshers can also apply.
• Good knowledge of medicines, dosage forms, and prescription handling.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to work in shifts, if required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
