Job Summary

Urgent Hiring - Phaco Surgeon. Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Position: Consultant Phaco Surgeon / Cataract Surgeon. Qualification: MS/DNB Ophthalmology or equivalent recognized qualification. Registration: Valid NMC/State Medical Council Registration. Experience: Experienced candidates preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform phacoemulsification and cataract surgeries as per expertise.
• Conduct pre-operative evaluation and assess surgical suitability.
• Manage post-operative follow-up and patient care.
• Diagnose and manage routine ophthalmic conditions.
• Counsel patients regarding cataract surgery, treatment options and expected outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical and surgical records.
• Coordinate with OT, nursing and ophthalmology teams.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Ophthalmologist with relevant surgical experience.
• Good expertise in phacoemulsification/cataract surgery.
• Strong clinical and surgical skills.
• Good patient communication and counselling abilities.
• Candidates looking for a long-term association are preferred.
