Bharathidhasanar Group Of School is hiring five Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) for higher secondary classes in Arakkonam, Tamil Nadu.

Role & responsibilities

• Academic Delivery: Teach Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, and Taxation to higher secondary classes (Grade 11 & 12) adhering to CBSE and State Board frameworks.
• Instructional Planning: Design engaging lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, and comprehensive assessments that cater to varied student learning paces.
• Exam Preparation: Strategically prepare students for board examinations and relevant commerce-centric competitive examinations.
• Evaluation & Feedback: Conduct regular unit tests and term examinations, meticulously evaluate answer scripts, and deliver constructive feedback to drive academic improvement.
• Differentiated Learning: Closely monitor academic metrics and provide tailored remedial support and interventions for slow learners.
• Tech-Integration: Maximize the use of smart classrooms, digital teaching aids, and activity-based models to bring conceptual clarity to complex financial concepts. [1]
• Collaboration & Alignment: Actively participate in parent-teacher meetings (PTMs), staff councils, school events, and contribute positively toward school performance strategies.
• Classroom Management: Maintain high standards of discipline and create a supportive, positive, and growth-oriented learning environment.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Masters degree in a relevant subject + B.Ed. is mandatory
• Core Subjects: Accountancy, Commerce, Business Studies, and Taxation
• Main Duties: Lesson planning, board exam preparation, smart classroom teaching, script evaluation, and supporting slow learners
• Preferences: Preference given to candidates from Tamil Nadu
