Job Summary

Pallavi Model School, Bowenpally, is looking for an experienced and passionate PGT Social Science Teacher to deliver quality education in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to engage students through interactive and student-centred teaching methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Social Science subjects in accordance with the CBSE curriculum and school academic standards.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
• Explain complex concepts in History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics, as applicable to the assigned classes.
• Monitor students academic progress and provide appropriate guidance and remedial support.
• Maintain classroom discipline and promote an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Conduct periodic assessments, evaluate answer scripts, and maintain academic records.
• Integrate innovative teaching strategies and digital learning tools into classroom instruction.
• Coordinate with the academic team, HOD, and school management regarding academic activities.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and other school-related activities.

Eligibility Criteria

• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant Social Science subject.
• B.Ed. qualification is preferred/required as per applicable CBSE and school norms.
• 5-8 years of relevant teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school.
• Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the CBSE curriculum and assessment patterns.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and student-engagement skills.
• Ability to prepare structured lesson plans and achieve academic learning objectives.
