Role & Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive History lessons for Middle and Senior school students (Classes VI–XII), aligned with CBSE curriculum.
• Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of historical events and contexts.
• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and conduct assessments in line with academic standards.
• Incorporate innovative teaching strategies including project-based learning, debates, and use of multimedia.
• Prepare students for board examinations and inter-school competitions.
• Maintain records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and school management.
• Participate in curriculum development, department meetings, and school events.
• Uphold classroom discipline and encourage a culture of respect, inquiry, and academic excellence.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Postgraduate degree in History with B.Ed. (Mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE school.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools (e.g., smart boards, Google Classroom).
• Passion for teaching and mentoring adolescents.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, creative, and a team player.
