Key Responsibilities
Key Requirements
- Plan and deliver Economics lessons according to the prescribed board curriculum.
- Teach Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Indian Economic Development and Statistics.
- Conduct regular revision sessions and mock examinations.
- Analyse past examination papers and prepare students for board examinations.
- Prepare question papers, assignments and assessments.
- Evaluate answer scripts and maintain accurate academic records.
- Maintain an interactive, disciplined and inclusive classroom environment.
- Participate in PTMs and provide feedback on academic and behavioural development.
- Support academic fairs, inter-school competitions, departmental meetings and other school activities.
- Use smart boards, digital classroom tools and modern teaching aids effectively.
Key Requirements
- Master's Degree in Economics (M.A./M.Sc.) from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. is strictly mandatory.
- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching Economics at PGT/Senior Secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Statistics.
- Knowledge of Indian economic development and current economic developments.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in modern teaching aids and digital classroom tools.
