Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective Economics lessons for Classes XI and XII.
• Teach concepts of Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Indian Economy, and Statistics for Economics.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
• Conduct periodic tests and examinations and evaluate student performance.
• Provide academic support and individual attention to students where required.
• Monitor students' academic progress and maintain appropriate records.
• Prepare students for board examinations through revision, practice, and examination-oriented guidance.
• Use appropriate teaching methodologies, activities, case studies, and real-world examples to make Economics concepts easier to understand.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate students' academic progress effectively.
• Collaborate with the department/HOD in curriculum planning and academic activities.
• Participate in school events, meetings, workshops, and other academic responsibilities.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.

• Ability to explain complex economic concepts in a simple and practical manner.

• Ability to motivate and engage senior secondary students.

Educational Qualification

• Master's Degree in Economics from a recognized university.
• B.Ed. is mandatory/preferred as per school requirements.
• Candidates with relevant CBSE senior secondary teaching experience will be preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience teaching Economics for Classes XI and XII.
• Experience in a CBSE school will be an advantage.
• Candidates with experience preparing students for CBSE Board examinations will be preferred.
