    About this role

    About the Role:
We are seeking a highly professional, physically fit, and vigilant Personal Security Guard to ensure the safety and well-being of a high-profile individual. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a disciplined professional who presents a commanding presence and possesses the tactical skills to handle any security situation.

    Key Requirements:

    • Licensing: Must possess a valid Armed Security License (and any required state permits).
    • Physical Fitness: Must maintain a gym physique and high level of physical endurance. You must be able to stand for long periods, run, and physically intervene if necessary.
    • Appearance: Professional, well-groomed, and "good looking" in the sense of presenting a sharp, executive, and commanding image. You represent the client; your appearance matters.
    • Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in executive protection, law enforcement, or military service.
    • Skills: Defensive tactics, evasive driving (preferred), and advanced threat assessment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide close protection to the client at all times.
    • Monitor surroundings for threats and de-escalate situations.
    • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
    • Coordinate with other security team members and drivers.

    How to Apply:
Please submit your resume, a recent professional headshot, and a copy of your current weapon license/permit.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Close Protection:
      • Provide discreet and constant security coverage for the client at home, in transit, and at public events.
      • Maintain a protective perimeter around the client at all times.
      • Anticipate and identify potential threats before they escalate.
    2. Physical Presence & Deterrence:
      • Maintain a high level of physical fitness (gym physique) to ensure readiness for physical confrontation and to project a deterrent presence.
      • Present a professional, well-groomed, and commanding image that aligns with the clients public profile.
    3. Security Operations:
      • Conduct advance security checks of venues and routes.
      • Operate and maintain security equipment, including firearms, communication devices, and surveillance tools.
      • Safely transport the client (if required) using defensive driving techniques.
    4. Emergency Response:
      • React immediately to medical emergencies, accidents, or security breaches.
      • Perform first aid and CPR if necessary.
      • Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.

    Working Conditions:

    • Flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • Travel may be required (domestic and international).
    • Physically demanding environment.

    Compensation:

    • Competitive salary based on experience.

Tips for Hiring (For the Employer)

Since you are looking for very specific physical and licensing requirements, here is how to screen candidates effectively:

    1. The "Gym Physique" Check: Don't rely solely on the resume. Ask for a recent full-body photo or conduct a video interview. In the interview, ask about their current workout routine to gauge their commitment to fitness.
    2. License Verification: Before the interview, ask for a photo of their weapon license and permit. Verify the license number with the state licensing board to ensure it is active and not suspended.
    3. The "Good Looking" Factor: This is subjective, but in this industry, it usually means "neat, clean, and professional." Look for someone who looks like they belong in a suit. Ask yourself: Does this person look like a bodyguard, or do they look like a bouncer?
    4. Scenario Testing: During the interview, ask a tactical question. "If we are walking down the street and a suspicious car pulls up, what do you do?" This will separate the experienced professionals from those just looking for a paycheck.
