Job Description

The selected consultant will be required to support for:

To develop and validate finite element (FE) models for commercial vehicle structures and sub-assemblies.

To perform stiffness analysis, including both linear and nonlinear simulations, to evaluate structural performance.

To conduct strength assessments using linear and nonlinear finite element analysis methodologies.

To execute durability and fatigue analyses using both Stress-Life (S-N) and Strain-Life (-N) approaches.

To ensure comprehensive documentation of simulation methodologies, analysis results, technical recommendations, and newly developed/improved CAE processes.

To mentor and guide junior analysts by providing technical support, reviewing analysis quality, and promoting best CAE practices.

Independently carry out CAE projects and recommend design optimization measures to improve structural stiffness, strength, durability, and overall product performance.

Leverage knowledge of commercial vehicle structures, chassis systems, and sub-assemblies to support accurate simulation and design evaluation.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge

Primarily Skill : Pre-Post Altair Hyper works (HM,HV), Solvers – Nastran and Abaqus, Fatigue – FEMFAT.

Secondary Skill : Good Knowledge of Automotive Domain

Must have : FEA domain knowledge

Preferred to have : Automotive background
