Performance Tester

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and performance objectives.
• Design workload models and performance test strategies.
• Develop and maintain test scripts using JMeter and BlazeMeter.
• Execute Load, Stress, Spike, Volume, Endurance, and Scalability tests.
• Configure and manage cloud-based performance tests through BlazeMeter.
• Monitor application performance using tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana, or equivalent.
• Perform script correlation, parameterization, debugging, and validations.
• Identify performance bottlenecks across application, middleware, database, and infrastructure layers.
• Analyse key metrics such as:
• Response Time
• Throughput
• TPS (Transactions Per Second)
• Hits/sec
• Error Rate
• Resource Utilization
• Prepare performance test reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Work closely with Development, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Business teams.
• Support CI/CD integration of performance testing using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Contribute to Performance Engineering best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
