Performance Test Engineer

Performance Test Engineer 📍 Locations: Chennai | Pune | Kolkata 🕒 Experience: 5-10 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance test strategies, plans, and test cases.
• Perform Benchmark, Load, Stress, Endurance, and Scalability testing.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts using API, Web HTTP/HTML, and SAP Web/GUI protocols.
• Analyze application performance and identify bottlenecks, memory leaks, connection issues, and system constraints.
• Monitor system metrics including CPU utilization, memory consumption, network usage, garbage collection, and server health.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Infrastructure, and Product teams to investigate and resolve performance issues.
• Review application logs and monitoring dashboards to understand system behavior under load.
• Prepare performance test reports, dashboards, graphs, and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Manage test environments, test data, defects, and performance test configurations.
• Provide optimization recommendations to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in Performance Testing.
• Strong expertise in:
• LoadRunner
• JMeter
• Gatling
• Experience in workload modeling, test estimation, test planning, and performance test strategy.
• Expertise in performance monitoring and observability tools such as:
• Datadog
• Dynatrace
• AppDynamics
• Grafana
• Similar monitoring platforms
• Strong understanding of application architecture, client-server systems, APIs, and web technologies.
• Experience analyzing server-side metrics, JVM behavior, garbage collection, memory, CPU, and network utilization.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
