About the Role: CloudLabs is seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer to drive performance validation initiatives for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in LoadRunner, Performance Center, and SAP environments, with the ability to design and execute comprehensive performance testing strategies, identify system bottlenecks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize application performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute performance testing activities to assess application scalability, responsiveness, stability, and overall system behaviour under varying workloads.
• Create performance testing strategies, test scenarios, workload distributions, and execution plans aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Conduct different types of performance testing, including load, stress, endurance, and volume testing.
• Manage test execution and monitoring activities through LoadRunner Enterprise/Performance Center.
• Review and interpret test outcomes, identify performance constraints, and optimization opportunities.
• Work closely with application development, SAP, infrastructure, database, and support teams to investigate and resolve performance-related concerns.
• Participate in performance validation activities during production-like environments and scheduled off-business-hour testing windows when necessary.
• Generate detailed performance assessment reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain automated performance scripts using LoadRunner VuGen.
• Identify, log, track, and validate defects effectively while ensuring high defect detection quality.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor to team members on performance testing best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within distributed global teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5-7 years of practical experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering initiatives.
• Strong hands-on expertise with LoadRunner Professional/Enterprise (Performance Center), including script development, scenario configuration, execution management, result analysis, and reporting.
• Proven experience in creating and maintaining performance test scripts using VuGen.
• Good understanding of Performance Center administration, scheduling, execution management, and reporting functions.
• Experience designing realistic workload distributions and complex performance test scenarios.
• Knowledge of performance testing protocols such as HTTP/HTML, REST APIs, Web Services, True Client, RDP, Mobile, and Oracle NCA.
• Familiarity with network traffic monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Fiddler, Wireshark, or similar.
• Ability to analyze applications, database, server, and SAP performance metrics to determine root causes of performance bottlenecks.
• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-resolution capabilities.
• Basic exposure to NeoLoad, including scripting, workload design, test execution, and report generation.
• Foundational knowledge of SAP platforms such as SAP ECC, SAP Fiori, or related SAP ecosystems.
• Understanding of SAP architecture and business process flows from a performance testing and optimization standpoint.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical findings to both technical and business audiences.
