Performance engineer

Role & responsibilities

1 Design, Develop and execute performance test scripts using JMeter and LoadRunner.

Conduct load, stress, spike, and endurance testing.

Monitor application performance metrics (CPU, memory, GC, I/O, database, network).

Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Analyze results and identify performance bottlenecks.

Work with development and infrastructure teams for performance optimization.

Prepare performance test reports and recommendations.

Develop custom utilities and enhancements using Python for test execution, data handling, and reporting.

Preferred candidate profile

Must-Have

-Strong experience in performance testing using JMeter and LoadRunner.

-Hands-on experience in Python scripting for test utilities or automation support.

-Strong understanding of load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.

-Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git.

- Experience testing web-based, API, and distributed applications.

- Strong knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, and web protocols.

Good-to-Have

Experience with Java, Selenium, Playwright. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and performance tuning techniques.

Knowledge of AI implementation in Performance Testing
