Performance Engineer

Komprise is looking for a Performance Engineer to evaluate the performance and scalability of its file system data management stack.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute performance and scale engineering for cloud file systems and data management.
• Build and review performance automation frameworks and tune system architecture.
• Identify performance bottlenecks using scripting, programming, monitoring, and instrumentation.
• Drive non-functional testing and automation across the data management stack.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams.
• Work on monitoring and DevOps instrumentation for the performance engineering lifecycle.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in performance and scale validation, preferably in filesystem/storage.
• Strong experience testing and automating complex, scalable, and reliable software.
• Expertise in performance automation architecture.
• Experience with Linux/Windows system and process monitoring.
• Application performance tuning experience with Java and C/C++.
• Strong understanding of instrumentation, measurement, and bottleneck identification.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
