Performance Analyst - Wind

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Monitor and analyse the operational performance of a 1+ GW wind energy portfolio to ensure optimal generation and asset utilization. 
• Track, evaluate, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) including PLF, turbine availability, grid availability, energy yield, and generation efficiency. 
• Perform detailed turbine-level, site-level, and fleet-level performance assessments using SCADA and operational data. 
• Conduct energy loss analysis to quantify losses arising from turbine downtime, grid outages, curtailment, environmental factors, and operational constraints. 
• Identify underperforming assets through data-driven analysis and recommend performance improvement initiatives. 
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for generation shortfalls, recurring faults, availability losses, and abnormal turbine behaviour. 
• Develop and maintain automated performance dashboards, analytical reports, and management MIS 
• Evaluate fleet performance against contractual guarantees, internal benchmarks, and industry best practices. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans that align with organizational goals.

Job Requirements :

• 5-11 years of experience in finance or accounting role with a focus on performance analytics.
• Strong understanding of budgeting and forecasting principles, including ability to create complex models.
• Proficiency in creating interactive dashboards using tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis, Wind Performance.
