PeopleSoft Technical Developer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain PeopleSoft applications based on business and technical requirements.
• Build Oracle APEX applications including interactive reports, interactive grids, forms, dashboards, and dynamic web pages.
• Develop PeopleSoft components using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, and SQR.
• Develop and maintain Oracle SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and other database objects.
• Integrate Oracle APEX, PeopleSoft, and enterprise systems through REST APIs, SOAP web services, and related integration interfaces.
• Perform debugging, root cause analysis, performance tuning, and production issue resolution.
• Translate functional requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
• Identify opportunities to modernize existing PeopleSoft functionality using Oracle APEX and complementary Oracle technologies.

Skills Required:

• 7-12 years of experience in PeopleSoft technical development, Oracle APEX application development, enterprise integrations, and production support.
• Hands-on Oracle APEX development experience with enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong PeopleSoft technical development experience across PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, and SQR.
• Advanced Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL development skills, including procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and database objects.
• Experience designing and supporting REST and SOAP integrations between PeopleSoft, Oracle APEX, and external systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement reliable production fixes.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle practices, Agile delivery, technical design, and application support.

Good to Have:

• PeopleSoft, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, SQR, Oracle APEX, REST, SOAP, Oracle, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Git, and Jira experience.

Education: B.Tech or B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
