The Opportunity
As part of EY GDS People Consulting, the HR Transformation (HRT) team helps organizations transform the way HR services are delivered through Shared Services Centers (SSC), Global Business Services (GBS), Target Operating Models (TOMs), digital HR and workforce transformation initiatives.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering large-scale HR Transformation programs by helping clients assess, design and implement future-ready HR service delivery models.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead/ support workstreams within HR Shared Services and Service Delivery Transformation engagements
- Assess and redesign HR operating models, governance frameworks and service delivery structures
- Support the design and implementation of Shared Services Centers (SSC) and Global Business Services (GBS) models
- Drive process re-engineering and standardization initiatives across HR functions
- Lead process discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews and requirements gathering activities
- Design service catalogues, governance frameworks, SLAs and KPI measurement structures
- Support transition, migration and transformation programs associated with SSC implementations
- Conduct maturity assessments, benchmark studies and operating model evaluations
- Develop executive-level presentations, recommendations and transformation roadmaps
- Analyze operational, workforce and service delivery metrics to identify improvement opportunities
- Support digital HR, automation and AI-enabled service delivery transformation initiatives
- Coach and mentor junior team members while contributing to overall project delivery
- Support proposal development, thought leadership and capability-building initiatives within the practice

Ideally, youll also have
- Experience supporting HR Shared Services, GBS or Service Delivery Transformation programs
- Knowledge of HR Target Operating Models (TOM) and governance frameworks
- Exposure to HR operating model design and organization transformation initiatives
- Experience working with HR technology platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors or Oracle HCM
- Understanding of process improvement, automation and digital transformation methodologies
- Exposure to change management, transition and migration programs
- Interest in emerging HR technologies, analytics and AI-enabled service delivery
What we look for
- 6-9 years of experience preferably in HR Transformation, HR Shared Services, Service Delivery Transformation, GBS or HR Consulting domain.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in managing HR Transformation projects across 1 or more of the following areas: HR Tech implementation, process re-engineering, operating model redesign, HR SSC implementation, etc.
- Master's degree in HR or similar full-time MBA/EMBA
- Experience supporting HR Transformation, Shared Services or Target Operating Model (TOM) initiatives
- Strong understanding of HR operating models, governance structures and service delivery frameworks
- Experience in process re-engineering, service catalogue design and SLA/KPI framework development
- Strong understanding of one or more HCM systems - Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, PeopleSoft, etc.
