Penetration Tester

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive penetration testing on various systems, networks, and applications to identify security vulnerabilities.
• Simulate cyberattacks to assess the resilience and effectiveness of our security measures.
• Analyze and interpret test results, providing detailed reports and recommendations for security enhancements.
• Collaborate with the development team to implement security best practices and ensure secure coding practices.
• Stay updated with the latest cyber threats, attack techniques, and security trends to anticipate potential risks.
• Assist in developing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance.
• Conduct security awareness training and workshops to educate employees on potential risks and best practices.
• Work closely with the incident response team to investigate and mitigate security incidents.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to other teams on security-related matters, ensuring a holistic approach to cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 4-9 years of experience in penetration testing or a similar cybersecurity role.
• OSCP certification is mandatory, with additional certifications like CEH, CISSP, or GIAC being advantageous.
• Proven track record of identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities in complex systems.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, web application security, and system architecture.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think like an attacker.
• Proficiency in using various penetration testing tools and techniques.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
