Pega Test Engineer

Roles Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for PEGA applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, UAT, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate PEGA case management workflows, business rules, decision tables, and process automations.
• Test PEGA applications built on:
• PEGA Customer Service
• PEGA Customer Decision Hub (CDH)
• PEGA Sales Automation
• PEGA Marketing
• PEGA BPM Solutions
• Validate integrations with external applications, APIs, databases, and third-party systems.
• Perform API and web service testing for REST and SOAP integrations.
• Execute data validation and migration testing activities.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Collaborate with PEGA developers, architects, business analysts, and stakeholders.
• Support user acceptance testing and production release validation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and quality assurance initiatives.

Additional Responsibility

• Knowledge of PEGA application architecture and business process management concepts.
• Experience validating assignments, stages, SLA rules, routing logic, and case processing.
• Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of STLC, defect management, and QA methodologies.
• Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar test management tools.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
