Experience 5+ years in Pega platform implementation, migration, and upgrade projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Migration :
• Lead end-to-end migration of Pega applications from on-premise or private cloud to

Pega Cloud or

Azure/AWS .

• Assess current infrastructure, database (Oracle/PostgreSQL), and integrations for migration readiness.
• Ensure compliance with Pega Cloud standards and security best practices.
• Constellation UI Implementation :
• Design and implement

Constellation-based UI for modernized user experience.

• Migrate legacy UI components to Constellation framework.
• Optimize performance and usability post-migration.
• Post-Migration Activities :
• Validate application functionality, integrations, and performance in the new environment.
• Conduct

data integrity checks , archival job verification, and batch job refactoring.

• Pega Upgrade Expertise :
• Plan and execute

Pega platform upgrades (e.g., from 8.x to latest version).

• Apply hotfixes, patches, and ensure backward compatibility.
• Perform regression testing and resolve upgrade-related issues.
• Integration & Database Handling :
• Configure Pega for new database connectivity and remove obsolete references.
• Build service layers (REST/SOAP) for external data retrieval when direct DB access is restricted.
• Testing & Validation :
• Validate case lifecycle, reports, agents, queue processors, and background jobs post-migration.
• Documentation & Governance :
• Ensure adherence to

Pega guardrails and cloud best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in

Pega Platform (8.x and above) .

• Hands-on experience with

Pega Cloud migration and

Constellation UI .

• Experience in

Pega upgrade projects and post-migration validation.

• Strong understanding of

integration patterns (REST, SOAP, Kafka).

• Familiarity with

DevOps pipelines for Pega deployments.

• Excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
