CSA - PE Assistant Teacher

Purpose of Role

To support the delivery of Physical Education and sports activities, helping students develop physical fitness, sports skills, teamwork, discipline, and healthy lifestyle habits in a safe and encouraging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist PE teachers in planning and conducting Physical Education and sports sessions for students.
• Support students in developing basic sports skills, physical fitness, coordination, and teamwork.
• Conduct and supervise sports activities, drills, games, and fitness exercises under the guidance of the PE teacher.
• Ensure students follow sports rules, safety procedures, and appropriate conduct during activities.
• Supervise students during sports periods, breaks, competitions, practices, and school events.
• Assist in organizing and conducting inter-house, inter-school, and other sports competitions.
• Support students in preparing for sports events and competitions based on their interests and abilities.
• Maintain and organize sports equipment, facilities, and activity areas, reporting any damage or safety concerns.
• Monitor student participation and provide appropriate encouragement, guidance, and feedback.
• Perform other PE and sports-related duties assigned by the PE Coordinator or School Management.
