Pcb Layout Design Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled PCB Layout Design Engineer with 4-6 years of experience in designing multilayer PCBs for automotive and EV applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PCB layout tools, high-voltage designs, manufacturing processes, and adherence to IPC standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop multilayer PCB layouts for automotive and power electronic products.
• Create and maintain PCB libraries, footprints, and component symbols.
• Perform PCB placement and routing considering Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), EMI/EMC, thermal, and manufacturability requirements.
• Generate Gerber files, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with IPC, IEC, and automotive standards.
• Coordinate with hardware, mechanical, manufacturing, and supplier teams for successful product development.
• Support PCB fabrication, assembly, testing, and debugging activities.

Required Skills

• 4-6 years of experience in PCB Layout Design.
• Hands-on experience with Altium Designer, OrCAD Capture, and PADS.
• Experience in High-Speed Digital, Analog, Mixed-Signal, and Power Electronics PCB Design.
• Knowledge of DFM, DFA, DFT, EMI/EMC, SI, and PI concepts.
• Experience in PCB stack-up planning, routing, and layout reviews.
• Understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Familiarity with IPC standards and automotive product development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in EV products such as OBC, DC-DC Converter, Motor Controller, BMS.
• Exposure to high-voltage and high-current PCB designs.
• Knowledge of automotive quality and reliability requirements.
