Payroll Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and within timelines.
• Verify attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, deductions, and other payroll inputs.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, and employees for payroll-related queries.
• Maintain employee salary and payroll records.
• Handle PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, TDS and other statutory payroll compliances.
• Prepare monthly payroll reports and MIS.
• Ensure timely submission of payroll inputs to Finance.
• Manage Full & Final Settlement calculations and related documentation.
• Support salary revisions, arrears, recoveries, deductions, and employee changes.
• Reconcile payroll data and identify discrepancies before salary processing.
• Handle employee queries related to salary, deductions, PF, tax and other payroll matters.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee salary and personal information.
• Support payroll audits and provide required data/documents.

Job Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in HR will be an advantage.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in Payroll / HR Operations.
• Good knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliances.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and HRMS/payroll software.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines.
• Experience in a manufacturing organization will be preferred.
