Payroll Officer

Role & responsibilities

Minimum 6 or more years of relevant experience in a similar role.

• Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
• Experience working in an international organization, shared service center, or outsourcing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a highly process-driven environment with a strong focus on accuracy and

quality.

• Acts with integrity, discretion and professionalism at all times, ensuring confidential and sensitive

information is handled responsibly and in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements.

• Excellent attention to detail and a structured way of working.
• Ability to follow documented procedures, work instructions and compliance requirements.
• Strong administrative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and the ability to work with multiple

business systems.

• Proven ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate issues, exceptions or risks.
• Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive employee, payroll or business information.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills when working with colleagues in different

countries and time zones.

• Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to identifying efficiencies and process

improvements.
