Requirements- Manage and oversee the entire payroll process ensuring timely and accurate employee compensation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
- Maintain payroll records and prepare reports for management and auditing purposes.
- Coordinate with HR and finance departments to verify employee information and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Implement and update payroll policies and procedures in accordance with legislative changes.
- Supervise and provide guidance to payroll staff, including training and performance evaluations.
- Handle payroll inquiries from employees and resolve issues effectively and professionally.
- Manage payroll system implementation and upgrades to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Review timesheets, attendance records, and leave balances to ensure correct payroll processing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of payroll management experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and database systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex).
- In - depth understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with staff, management, and external agencies.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
