Payroll Executive

A payroll executive manages the end-to-end processing of employee compensation, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursement while maintaining compliance with statutory laws

Job Brief

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Executive to manage monthly salary cycles, handle employee queries, and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements. This role acts as a bridge between the Human Resources and Finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing: Run the end-to-end monthly payroll cycle, including calculating gross wages, overtime, bonuses, and net pay.
• Statutory Compliance: Manage deductions and filings for Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax (PT), Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS).
• Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records for attendance, leaves, new hires, exits, and salary revisions.
• Full & Final Settlement: Process exit clearances and full-and-final settlements for departing employees.
• Employee Support: Address and resolve payroll, tax, and benefit-related queries professionally.
• Reporting & Audits: Generate MIS reports, dashboards for management, and provide documentation for internal or external audits
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Human Resources, or Finance (MBA/PGDM preferred).
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Excel and working knowledge of payroll software platforms (e.g., GreytHR, Zoho Payroll, ADP).
• Core Competencies: Strong numerical accuracy, high integrity handling confidential data, and clear communication abilities.
