Patient Registration & Scheduling Associate (US Healthcare)

We are seeking a Patient Registration & Scheduling Associate to handle endtoend patient intake and appointment coordination for US healthcare clients. The role involves capturing accurate patient and insurance information, verifying eligibility, managing appointments, and ensuring a smooth patient experience while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Role & responsibilities

• Collect and update patient demographics, insurance details, and required documentation in the EMR/EHR system.
  
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, referrals, and prior authorizations.
  
• Inform patients about copays, deductibles, and financial policies; collect copayments when required.
  
• Handle inbound calls to schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments based on provider availability.
  
• Assign appropriate appointment types and ensure correct provider, specialty, and location selection.
  
• Provide appointment instructions and send confirmations/reminders via call, text, or email.
  
• Manage waitlists, fill cancellations, and escalate urgent scheduling needs.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA and compliance adherence.
  

Preferred candidate profile

• US Healthcare RCM experience is mandatory.
  
• Experience with ECW (eClinicalWorks) preferred; knowledge of multiple EHR/EMR systems is an advantage.
  
• Strong communication skills, high accuracy in data entry, and ability to handle high call volumes.
  
• Willingness to work from office only and in US shifts.
