Patent Agent

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in invention disclosure meetings to understand and assess inventions.
• Conduct comprehensive patentability searches and prepare detailed reports.
• Present findings clearly through both verbal and written communication.
• Perform technology landscape studies to provide insights and identify gaps.
• Address IP-related queries from inventors and internal stakeholders.

Desired Skills:

• Strong analytical skills to interpret search results and support decision-making.
• Hands-on experience with commercial patent databases (Derwent Innovation, Questel Orbit, PatSeer, etc.).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification and Experience

• Registered Indian Patent Agent.
• Bachelors or masters degree in chemistry with strong domain expertise.
• 05 years of experience in conducting patentability searches in chemistry/Organic Chemistry related inventions.

Salary

Rs.25,000/- upwards per month based on the experience
