Partner/Director - Risk Advisory - Banking/Financial Services

PARTNER/ LEADER/ DIRECTOR RISK ADVISORY | GCC

Location: Manama, Bahrain

We are recruiting a Partner (tenured)/ Director (experienced) Risk Advisory in the GCC region - a leadership role for a seasoned Risk Consulting professional (Major and current Big4 Client facing experience is mandatory) ready to drive growth in the Financial Services sector.

THE RISK CONSULTING PRACTICE COVERS:

- Corporate Governance Advisory

- Compliance Advisory

- Financial Risk Management

- Internal Audit

- Forensics

- Quality Assurance Review

- Process Review

THE ROLE:

- Support the growth of the Risk Consulting business in the region

- Take an active leadership role in growing Financial Services

- Lead large and complex projects with subject matter expertise

- Drive innovation, practice growth, and team development

- Manage 30+ subordinates and multiple engagements

- Business development - client targeting, sales pitches, proposal development

- Deliver Board-level presentations

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

- 18+ years experience in a large Internal Audit/ GRC Consulting experience is a must (Not Technology)

- Majority in Risk Consulting services (Major and current Big4 Client facing experience is mandatory)

- 5+ years in a Big4 Director or above position

- Financial Services experience - Retail & Investment Banking, Insurance

- Recognised degree in Accounting/Finance/Business

- Professional qualification - ICAEW, ACCA, CPA and/or Masters

- CIA and/or CISA - MUST

- Proven Business Development track record with target achievement

- Experience developing new services under Risk Consulting

- Islamic banking knowledge - an added advantage

- Multi-country experience - an advantage

- Board-level presentation experience
