About this role
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Partner Development Manager, Managed Service Sales based in the United States.
As a Partner Development Manager, you’ll drive growth by recruiting and developing strategic managed security service providers and building scalable, revenue-generating offerings with them. You’ll serve as a critical link between external partners and internal sales, product, and technical teams. The role combines enterprise sales, channel development, partner enablement, go-to-market strategy, and program management. You’ll help partners bring differentiated security services to market while ensuring launches align with technical standards and broader managed-service frameworks. Success will require strong commercial judgment, cybersecurity knowledge, and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers. This is an opportunity to shape regional growth in a fast-moving, AI-driven cybersecurity environment.
Accountabilities:: Recruit new strategic Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) and managed service partners and develop relationships that generate sustainable revenue.
Co-develop differentiated, revenue-generating security service offerings with strategic partners.
Identify opportunities to position security solutions effectively against competitors and communicate the value proposition to partners and customers.
Maintain strong knowledge of the cybersecurity competitive landscape, including endpoint security and managed security solutions.
Provide partners with timely updates on relevant products, services, and managed service models.
Collaborate with internal product, technical, marketing, sales, and partner teams to develop service offerings, launch plans, and supporting content.
Own program management and governance for managed service offering launches, ensuring initiatives meet established technical and operational standards.
Evangelize partner capabilities and service offerings across the internal sales organization to accelerate adoption and revenue growth.
Serve as the voice of partners internally, communicating market feedback, partner needs, competitive insights, and growth opportunities to relevant stakeholders.
Develop accurate weekly forecasts for MSP/MSSP revenue within the assigned territory and communicate performance, risks, and opportunities to management.
Ensure regional partner activities remain aligned with global managed service frameworks and broader go-to-market strategies.
Support sales enablement initiatives that help internal teams effectively position and sell partner-led services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with MSSP decision-makers and other strategic channel stakeholders.
Continuously identify new opportunities to expand partner revenue, improve offerings, and strengthen market positioning.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of successful, above-quota sales experience, preferably in regional or enterprise sales roles focused on endpoint security or related cybersecurity solutions.
Deep understanding of cybersecurity solutions and the competitive security technology landscape.
Proven experience working with channel partners, MSSPs, MSPs, or other managed service organizations.
Established network of MSSP decision-makers and senior partner stakeholders is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated enterprise sales experience with a consistent track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
Experience developing partner-centric go-to-market strategies and translating partner capabilities into compelling commercial offerings.
Strong written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and business leaders.
Strong organizational, forecasting, reporting, and program management capabilities.
Experience supporting or developing sales enablement programs in a rapidly evolving and highly competitive market.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and maintain momentum from concept through launch.
Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment and take ownership of outcomes.
Prior experience in a startup or high-growth technology environment is preferred.
Passion for cybersecurity, emerging technology, and innovative approaches to managed security services.

On-target earnings of approximately $221,000–$270,000 USD, including base salary and commissions; actual ranges may vary by candidate location.
