Part-Time UI UX Designer

Experience: At least 3–5 years Job Description We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Product Designer / UI UX Designer to design and improve fintech dashboards, product screens, website pages, pricing flows, onboarding journeys, and data-heavy user interfaces. The role will work closely with the founder, developers, and internal research team to simplify complex financial intelligence into clean, premium, and easy-to-understand product experiences. This is not a basic graphic design or Canva role. We are looking for someone who can think through product flows, dashboard usability, visual hierarchy, user clarity, conversion, and developer handoff. Experience with fintech, SaaS, analytics platforms, dashboards, admin panels, or data visualization interfaces will be strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and improve GreyOak product screens including Compass, Horizon, screeners, stock intelligence pages, dashboards, pricing pages, onboarding flows, and product explanation pages.
• • Create clean and structured UI for complex financial data such as scores, zones, bands, risk levels, setup stages, filters, tables, cards, charts, alerts, and market summaries.
• • Improve user journeys from website visit to product understanding, pricing comparison, trial purchase, login, and dashboard usage.
• • Design responsive web interfaces for desktop and mobile with proper spacing, typography, hierarchy, and usability.
• • Create Figma designs with components, variants, auto layout, grids, reusable sections, and developer-friendly structure.
• • Work closely with the founder, developers, and research team to convert product logic into simple user experiences.
• • Improve existing screens for clarity, trust, usability, conversion, and premium brand feel.
• • Design important UI states such as empty states, loading states, error states, hover states, tooltips, filters, dropdowns, modals, and interaction details.
• • Prepare developer-friendly handoff files with clear design notes, states, and responsive behaviour.
• • Review implemented screens and share feedback for UI quality, usability, consistency, and pixel-level improvement.
• • Support product marketing pages with clean visuals, comparison sections, feature explanation blocks, and conversion-focused layouts when required.

Who can apply: Only those candidates can apply who:

• Have at least 3–5 years of experience in UI/UX design, product design, SaaS design, fintech design, dashboard design, or analytics product design.
• • Have a strong portfolio showing dashboards, SaaS products, fintech apps, analytics tools, admin panels, or data-heavy interfaces.
• • Have strong command over Figma, including auto layout, components, variants, grids, spacing systems, and responsive layouts.
• • Understand dashboard UX, data-heavy interfaces, tables, filters, charts, cards, product flows, and user journeys.
• • Can simplify complex information into clean visual hierarchy and easy-to-understand user interfaces.
• • Have good understanding of typography, spacing, layout, color, icons, and component-based design.
• • Can design responsive web interfaces for desktop and mobile.
• • Can work independently on a part-time basis with clear weekly deliverables.
• • Are comfortable working with founders, developers, and internal product teams.
• • Can take feedback, iterate quickly, and deliver practical designs that developers can implement.
• • Are available for regular review calls and design discussions.

Other Requirements:

• Good understanding of fintech, SaaS products, analytics dashboards, or data-heavy platforms.
• • Ability to convert complex financial or research-based information into simple, structured, and user-friendly interfaces.
• • Ability to design dashboards, tables, filters, cards, charts, scanner pages, stock detail pages, product comparison flows, pricing pages, and onboarding screens.
• • Experience with pricing pages, landing pages, onboarding flows, or conversion-focused product pages will be preferred.
• • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS limitations so designs are practical for developers.
• • Ability to create clean handoff files with design notes, interaction details, and UI states.
• • Strong attention to detail in spacing, alignment, typography, consistency, and usability.
• • Ability to work in a fast-moving startup environment.
• • Knowledge of stock market, investing, trading, fintech, or financial products will be an added advantage.

Portfolio Requirement: Candidates must share a portfolio. The portfolio should ideally include dashboard design, SaaS product design, fintech app or website, analytics platform, admin panel, data visualization interface, pricing page, landing page, or mobile-responsive product screens.

Expected Availability: This is a part-time role. The candidate should be available for regular review calls, design discussions, and weekly deliverables. Exact weekly hours and scope can be discussed based on candidate availability and project requirements.

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month. Final compensation will depend on experience, portfolio quality, weekly availability, fintech/dashboard design experience, and interview performance.
