JOB DESCRIPTION: PARAMEDIC STAFF

Position Details

• Designation: Paramedic Staff

• Reporting To: Care Coordinator
• Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Purpose

To provide basic clinical and paramedical support, assist in patient care, sample collection, and center activities while maintaining safety and required clinical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient assessment and paramedical support as per the assigned scope and clinical instructions.
• Record vitals and assist doctors/nurses during consultations and basic procedures.
• Collect, label, handle, and transfer patient samples as per prescribed procedures.
• Support diagnostic activities and coordinate sample dispatch with the laboratory team.
• Assist with basic emergency/first-aid support and promptly escalate abnormal findings or emergencies.
• Maintain availability and proper use of clinical equipment, medicines, and consumables assigned to the role.
• Follow infection control, hygiene, biomedical waste, and patient safety procedures.
• Maintain required patient records, sample records, and digital/system entries accurately.
• Support patient movement and basic center activities as directed by the clinical/center team.
• Report equipment, stock, safety, or facility issues to the concerned supervisor.
• Participate in required training, audits, and implementation of clinical SOPs.

Qualification & Experience

• DMLT / D.Pharm / relevant paramedical qualification as applicable to the assigned role.
• Relevant healthcare, hospital, clinic, diagnostic, or paramedical experience preferred.
