Panel Operator (Chemicals Manufacturing)

Role & responsibilities

Looking for an experienced DCS Panel Operator to handle plant operations in a continuous hazardous chemical manufacturing environment with strong focus on safety, SOP compliance, and process control.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant through DCS
• Maintain process parameters within limits
• Handle startup/shutdown as per SOPs
• Respond to alarms and deviations
• Maintain DCS logs and shift reports
• Ensure proper shift handover
• Issue work permits & coordinate maintenance activities
• Follow EHS guidelines and use PPE
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, near misses
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Safety & Lab teams
• Maintain housekeeping and documentation

Preferred candidate profile

Experience: 3 to 4 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E in Chemical Engineering

• Hands-on DCS operation (Mandatory)
• Experience in continuous chemical plant

Knowledge of SOPs, EHS & work permit system
